A New Year …. A New Hope

A new sun to make a fresh day
A new year to make a beginning today
A new smile for all in our pray
A new hope in our life to play
A new path to move without delay
A new heart where love for all need to stay

The New Year comes with all happiness, hopes, and aspirations. We make plans to go greet our friends, meet our relatives, go picnic, cut cakes, dance, merry making and many more things. We feel more energetic and positive. We all plan to make resolutions which we could not do in the previous year. Some of us make resolutions for growth in career while some make resolutions for personal life happiness. I remember of my school teacher’s word who has once said that- “We are in this beautiful earth. We pray for ourselves every time but forget the mother earth and forget the children of this earth. So in the eve of the New Year, let one of you from heart pray to the almighty divine to enlighten the earth where our sins are forgiven and we never make a sin; where we are away from greed (Lobha), emotional attachment (moha), illusion (maya), desire (kama), (anger) krodha; where we have love for all; where the truth will dwell and where that true happiness will make us contended that we don’t have any more desires”. So, let’s pray to the Lord, the master of the Universe that, in the New Year, to protect the earth from all natural hazards that takes away with it millions of life, to protect us from the terrorism activities that don’t the value the life of people, to protect the earth which has fallen sick by giving us more than we need, to protect us from ourselves that acts as a servant to greed for power and money. I remember the words of Dr. Abdul Kalam’s address and interaction with us in the Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering Department, in IIT Kharagpur campus on 10 December 2010 that, never complain what others are doing or not doing, always start from you, may be a little step, but that little step is the beginning to leap, that one drop will one day make a ocean, so educate the children those are deprived of education, plant a tree in every year, make rural people aware of the advances in technology and many more such things that you are able to do. He had said that “what worked yesterday, won’t work today”. So let’s rebuild our resolutions and share some time of our life for millions of lives that need us.
Marching Ahead….
