When joy comes like breeze wind
When smile stays in gate of mind
All feeling flows like the river kind
Love of your my heart remind

My soul sings many wishes
Peace appear like God blesses
Happiness touch you like angel’s kisses
All for you and your success

Life too short and so long my desire
To do everything for you with care
A cheerful face in Life Empire
Lively sunrise every day to acquire

My wishes so pure and my feelings so true
That comes from heart like morning dew
Everything you dream be it for you
Sorrow and suffering if ever come be few

No friends leave you new or old
They are with you in days of hot and cold
A praying hand be there to hold
Stay forever with or without gold

You stay as winner in hearts of million
 God stay with you for truthful vision
No egos or pride pull legs when you have risen
Each day each moment bliss be woven

All these smiles I want to return
From thought of your which is born
Those have dwelt in my lips in times of thorn
Let those smiles your lips now adorn

Lessons from a Matchstick

We know that a match is a flammable object for lighting a fire in required situation. This match sticks even though very small but can teach big lessons. It rubs itself on the rough surface again and again until it burns to ignite the light. The first lesson is that if you want to get something from life, you have bet ready to rub yourself to difficult situations of life. You should be ready to face the hurdles of life. The second lesson is that just like the match stick burns itself to light candles and lamps, if you have something never hesitate to share with others if the person is in need of it. If you have small amount of knowledge share it to others who may come out with new knowledge for the benefit of all. Odisha: Memories Recollected

When I thought to pen down something for the Kalinga Samaj e-magazine, I was puzzled while selecting a topic, because many years have passed, I would have written anything in odia. Then I  remembered about my school days and my odia lessons. I just could not just control myself to stop laughing for number of incidents relating to my subject odia in my school days- our odia teacher, the handwritings, the essay competitions, the odia idioms, story writing assignments, punishments, examinations days, daddy’s practise sessions and lots more. Childhood days are amazing in classroom, but a little tough for an English medium student in the odia class. With time, the love for the mother tongue grows, the tough subject seems a treasure to the heart and life.
